A great news for Malayali movie buffs. The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Mr.Amitabh Bachchan and our very own Lalettan would be seen together soon in a Malayalam film, to be directed by Major Ravi. Rumours about this had already started floating around when Mohanlal announced at a recent function that he is trying to bring Amitabh Bachchan into Malayalam for this project. Mr.Bachchan, was in Cochin yesterday to honour Resul Pookutty at a function organized by a private news channel. Mohanlal asked Mr.Bachchan publicly whether he would act in this project after hearing the narration, and he replied that he was more than happy to be a part of a Malayalam film. After the function, Major Ravi, Mohanlal and Mr.Bachchan had a half-an-hour narration and after that Mohanlal announced that Bachchan Saab has agreed to be a part of their film. The two superstars had earlier acted together in the Hindi movie, Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag in 2007. The film was a commercial disaster but the scenes featuring both of them together was the only good thing about the movie.
